3RD MAJOR SAHUC member RESIGNS

The Pan Africanist Congress has informed Hajj Watch that it has resigned from the South African Hajj and Umrah Council. Apparently the PAC, a member of the SAHUC National Executive Committee had grown tired of the undemocratic actions of the SAHUC management committee which appears to have assumed a life and direction of its own and repeatedly ignored its own National Executive Committee.

This is the third major member organisation to resign from SAHUC. So far the Jamiat Ulema Transvaal as well as the African National Congress has withdrawn from SAHUC. The reason for the Jamiat resigning is not known, however, the ANC has decided to “mediate” the dispute between the Hujjaaj as represented by Hajj Watch and SAHUC.  – Hajj Watch – Aslam Salie
